Sirenity is a three year old warmblood mare, born and raised at a breeding farm in Southern Ontario. Due to a complex series of health problems, intense stress, and lifestyle complications, this filly developed very dangerous and avoidant behaviours with her caregivers.

EPISODE 1 begins the journey with her history, some findings and thoughts we had along the way, and the beginning of how we began turning things around for Sirenity. Video footage includes some basic work in the paddock, asking her to keep space, move when asked, and follow a feel, before we attempted trailer loading to bring her to Braecrest. I love that horses have such great natural curiosity and always seek comfort… if you understand these basic principles, connection building, developing engagement, and training all become both simple and incredibly rewarding.
