REVEL SEL DE MER

Revel Sel De Mer (Lily) came to us as a two-year-old to be started under saddle and sold at the Canadian Elite Warmblood Sale in 2007.  We were so fond of her pedigree, type, work ethic, and jump, that we ended up purchasing her at the sale. Lily was shown on the line as a three-year-old, and won some top placings, including a fabulous 4th place finish in the Lieutenant Governor Cup at the 2009 Royal Winter Fair in Toronto.

Lily is sired by the Selle Francais stallion ‘Jamestown’ (Quidam de Revel x Alme x Narcos II), and out of the Oldenburg mare ‘Kalonja’ (Pablo x Figaro x Weltmeister).   Both parents had very successful show careers in both the Grand Prix Jumper ring and Adult Amateur Hunter ring.

Revel Sel De Mer has been a career broodmare for us, producing 9 foals to date. Every single one has inherited their dam’s outstanding disposition, superb canter, easy flying changes, and beautiful scopey jump.  She has produced both hunters and jumpers.  We are hoping she will be willing to carry a few more babies for us, and then will enjoy a much deserved retirement here at Braecrest.
